Purpose & Placement

Installed on public roads to alert drivers of a traffic circle (roundabout) ahead.

Helps prepare motorists to slow down and yield as required by traffic rules.

Driver Action Required

Reduce speed when approaching a traffic circle.

Follow road markings and signs to determine right of way.

If no signage is present, yield to vehicles approaching from the right and to those already circulating in the traffic circle.

Even if you have the right of way, remain cautious, other drivers may not yield correctly.

If a Yield at Mini Circle (R2.2) sign is posted, yield to any driver who reaches their yield line before you reach yours.
