How to Use the STOP Sign (for reference)

Stop your vehicle behind the stop line.

If no line is present, stop in line with the STOP sign.

At 3- or 4-way stops, wait your turn – do not proceed until vehicles that arrived before you have moved off.

Proceed only when it is safe to do so.
